Multi Tasking (non-technical) Staff Examination, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2024Declaration of Final Result
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final results for the Multi Tasking (non-technical) Staff Examination and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2024. The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) was conducted from September 30 to November 14, 2024, across various centers nationwide. Following this, the Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) for Havaldar posts took place from February 5 to 12, 2025.
Normalization of Marks: Given that the CBE was held in multiple shifts, SSC applied a normalization process to ensure fairness, as detailed in their official notice dated February 7, 2019.
Vacancy and Age Group Details: Vacancies for MTS were categorized into two age groups: 18-25 years and 18-27 years. Candidates eligible for both groups were primarily considered in the 18-25 years category. Selections were based on preferences indicated in the online application forms.
Selection Criteria:
- MTS Posts: Selection was based on performance in Session-II of the CBE.
- Havaldar Posts: Selection depended on performance in Session-II of the CBE and qualifying in PET/PST.
Minimum qualifying marks for both Session-I and Session-II were set at 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS, and 20% for other categories.
Vacancy Break-up:
- MTS (18-25 Years): Total 6,883 vacancies
- MTS (18-27 Years): Total 1,196 vacancies
- Havaldar in CBIC/CBN: Total 3,439 vacancies
Qualified Candidates:
- MTS (18-25 Years): 6,883 candidates qualified
- MTS (18-27 Years): 1,196 candidates qualified
- Havaldar: 3,428 candidates qualified
